Mr. Byron Snow Nelson, age 71, of Mount Ida, AR, passed away February 13, 2015 at his home. He was born January 24, 1944 to the late Bryon and Exie Nelson in Lavaca, AR. He was the hardest working man; It didn’t matter sleet or snow, no matter the distance he would work on it. He never stopped until the job was done. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers; Billy and Clark Nelson, Sisters; Laura Nelson, Ann Ashlin and Dorothy Douglas, Wife of thirty-two years Jo Ann Nelson.

Services will be held February 16, 2015 at the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pencil Bluff Cemetery in Pencil Bluff, AR. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR.
